Do you see clients in person or virtually?

As a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) Candidate in Georgia, I offer in-person counseling in Atlanta (Decatur) and virtual therapy across Georgia and Florida. If you’re in the Atlanta area, I see clients in person on Mondays and Tuesdays at my Decatur office. For those unable to meet in person, I provide online counseling on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. If you live in another state, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to help connect you with a trusted resource.

Yes, I offer couples counseling for those looking to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and navigate challenges in their relationship. I’ve received specialized training in The Gottman Method and hold a certification in Prepare/Enrich, a widely respected couples assessment and growth tool. I also completed a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy as part of my master’s program. Whether you’re dating, engaged, or married, couples therapy can help you build a stronger, more connected relationship.

The cost for a 50-minute counseling session is $165. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients who need a reduced fee. While I am out-of-network for all insurance providers, you can use a Health Savings Account (HSA) card to pay for sessions. If you have questions about affordability or out-of-network reimbursement, feel free to reach out.

Most men don’t start counseling expecting to be in therapy forever. The length of men’s counseling depends on your goals, but we’ll regularly check in to find the right cadence for your progress. Many clients begin with weekly sessions to build consistency and trust, then transition to biweekly, monthly, or as-needed sessions over time. Others find ongoing therapy valuable, much like working out for mental health. Whether you’re looking for short-term therapy or long-term support, we’ll create a plan that works for you.

  • Most men seek counseling to work on challenges like building confidence, overcoming career struggles, and navigating marriage or relationship issues. Many feel like they should be further along in life or struggle with loneliness and the need for deeper friendships. Common concerns include addictions (porn, sexually acting out, substance use), difficulty identifying emotions, and the exhaustion of trying to hold it all together. Some men also work through anger management or feeling stuck in life. No matter what you’re facing, counseling provides a space to process, grow, and move forward with confidence.

I specialize in men’s counseling for guys struggling with confidence, relationships, career stress, and emotional awareness. Most of my clients are men in their 30-40s, often married, sometimes with kids, who feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure of their next steps. Whether you’re dealing with self-doubt, addiction, or feeling like you’re not “enough,” therapy can help you break through what’s holding you back.

Your first counseling session is all about getting to know you—what’s been weighing on you, what changes you’d like to see, and how we can work together. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out; this is a space to explore what’s really going on. Most men find it refreshing to have a judgment-free space to talk openly about their struggles.

  • “Therapy is only for guys who are really struggling.”Reality: Even successful men use therapy to stay mentally strong.

  • “Talking about my problems won’t help.”Reality: Understanding your patterns and emotions helps you take control of them.

  • “I should be able to figure this out on my own.”Reality: Even the strongest men need a team in their corner.

Getting started with men’s counseling is simple. Just reach out through my website, and I’ll follow up to schedule a free 15-minute consultation call. During the call, I’ll answer any questions you have and learn more about what you’re hoping to work on—whether it’s building confidence, improving relationships, or navigating career challenges. If we’re a good fit, we’ll schedule your first counseling session. If another counselor or resource would better meet your needs, I’m happy to provide recommendations.
